Black, White and Shades of Grey

Reflecting on my existence and the threads that link me to my ancestors it is significant that through my art I connect with past and future.

In Black, White and Shades of Grey I reflect on a journey of existence, the threads that link me to my Druid ancestors. There is a sense of coming from the ‘dark ages’ moving into the light, of ‘enlightenment’ and the links between these.

My people established new existences in foreign lands, traveling to the unknown, as we each, every day, travel into an unknown.
The ‘lacuna’ bowls are empty spaces of opportunity. They represent the future or the unknown. They are spaces waiting for abundance, experiences, and plenitude. They are open to be filled by the future.
